Casino Patronage with Player Development Software

Written by Joe Maltese Posted January 30, 2017 by Carolina

Online casino gaming has exploded in popularity within the last decade and continues to evolve to meet the needs of players worldwide. Nowadays, operators have the opportunity to capitalize on new trends in payment software to increase their client base and keep players coming back.

The integration of Bitcoin APIs to an online gaming platform's (OGP) payment gateway is one of the newest trends to hit the iGaming industry. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and a new form of peer-to-peer online payment system that is not governed by a bank's authority. Bitcoins can be obtained primarily through mining, a complex process where an individual uses specialized software to add transaction records to Bitcoin's public ledger of past transactions, which is called the "blockchain." Network nodes verify the legitimacy of the Bitcoin transaction records added to the blockchain. If accepted, new Bitcoins are created and awarded to the individual in a proof-of-work logic. This system controls how many new Bitcoins are distributed and how existing ones are spent.

Games for mobile devices are ever-growing in popularity. Casual gaming has increased dramatically with the ubiquity of smartphones and tablets that allow games to be more accessible to users on the move.

Indie game developers often overlook the benefits of mobile platforms with aspirations of having the next big console or PC game. Deep in the gaming communities, there is a notion that one must invest a great deal of time and money on high-quality graphics and storylines to compete with prominent names in the gaming landscape.
Fortunately, many start-ups have gotten in on the action by creating simple games that quickly gain mainstream popularity thanks to engaging User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design concepts and addictive gameplay.

Without complex story lines, intense graphics or confusing mechanics, mobile games generally turn out to be more user-friendly, which means more people are likely to play and have a positive UX.

Written by Sachin Sharma Posted October 31, 2014 by Carolina

Social and mobile games are becoming increasingly popular because they are easily accessed through mediums such as mobile devices, tablet applications, social media, and internet browsers. As the name implies, social gaming connects users from around the world, and allows people to meet and compete with other users with the same passion for certain games. The convenience of smart phones and the widespread availability of internet have propelled social gaming into a multi-billion dollar industry. It is common to be on a flight, bus, or in a waiting room and see your neighbor pull out their phone to play social games. It offers users a brief respite from their day to reduce stress, increase mental stimulation, induce relaxation, and achieve some social interaction without being tied to a single location. This escape is often free or inexpensive to play, which makes social gaming variations of popular casino style games an ideal platform to reach users in masses without needing to navigate the muddy waters of gambling legislation.

Fantasy sports are highly popular games where players form custom teams using the statistics of real sports professionals to play against other individuals in the same fantasy sports league. Each fantasy league operates on the same timeline as the professional league. Because the fantasy teams incorporate players from many different teams, the real-time statistics of each player are used to award points based on player performance during games.

There is no limit to the type of sports a fantasy league can focus on or even a limitation suggesting the league must rely on a sport. Indeed, until 2009 there was even a fantasy league for the United States Congress where points were awarded based on the number of actions completed by each member of the Senate and House.

With all the interesting possibilities available for creating a fantasy sports league of your own, it may be surprising to discover that choosing a sport to follow is merely one of the many necessary components to launching a successful fantasy sports portal.

The client is a leading US provider of Sweepstakes systems for businesses across multiple industries. Originally, the client was licensing their Sweepstakes system through a 3rd party vendor. However, this arrangement was not cost-effective or desirable for the client. They needed an in-house Sweepstakes game solution capable of hosting a large suite of games that incorporated a point-of-sale application.

The client requested from Chetu the design and development of a gaming platform that would match their needs.

Business Objective

By building an in-house Sweepstakes gaming system, the client would minimize its licensing costs while offering advanced customization and reporting features to its customers. The Chetu team needed to build a sweepstakes gaming platform with a finite math engine that could be configured to offer different payout percentages. The system would also need to allow for future expandability and scalability to easily produce new games by simply changing the skins.
