CREATING LONG-LASTING MEMORIES WITH A DEDICATED WEB PLATFORM

The Approach

Interestingly, our client already had an application going. This prompted us to perform an in-depth analysis of its structure, mapping every aspect of the UI to its respective database field and business logic. After deriving the insight from that process, we were able to refine what already functioned about their work and give ourselves the breathing room necessary to deliver the desired implementations.

We leveraged a technology stack that stood for the scalability and desired robustness these new features would entail. For the backend, we used PHP 8.2 for its ease of use, enhanced security, and modern programming features that work well for contemporary web apps that contain dynamic content. As for frontend development, we use HTML since it's the standard markup language for webpages.

In addition to this, MySQL was used as the relational database alongside Apache Web Server, which facilitated hosting. The primary development environment we used was Visual Code, which enabled us to use tools like Tortoise SVN to manage version control and have a collaborative development process.

As for testing, we took the project across various operating systems and browsers, including Windows, Linux, Mac, Edge, Chrome, and Firefox. Consequently, the platform we delivered was a comprehensive, fully functional web platform that would serve its intended purpose and be further enhanced with contemporary solutions like Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence, especially as it pertains to enhancing web platforms, can provide the personalization, security, and automation pathways to improve what’s already there. In the case of our client’s project, we’re able to leverage AI to better the user experience and automate user subscriptions, among various other innovative features.

The Results

With an intuitive web platform that meets all the project's desired functions and core objectives, we look forward to the future. Now, the administrator will be able to take advantage of the following features:

Furthermore, future enhancements to the project, like optimizing platform scalability, expanding message customization options, and incorporating user-driven improvements, remain a focus for our client. Despite this trajectory indicating that their evolution as provider hasn't ended, their overarching goal remains the same: be a bridge between those no longer here and their loved ones, ensuring legacies and memories endure.
