HOW CHETU SUCESSFULLY DEVELOPED SHOPIFY AND MAGENTO ECOMMERCE PLUGINS FOR IMPROVED MARKETING VISIBILITY

The plugin created for the ecommerce platform installs to the respective client’s platform by providing an option for the customer to choose to pay using the client’s services. Chetu developers used the Postgre SQL as the database server for the application. There are some user defined functions in the postgre that use Perl language internally.

The development team created a plugin for full-service ecommerce providers Magento and Shopify to provide the following functionality:

• Display link/button with the client logo and text on shopping portal checkout page. By clicking on which user should be redirected to the client’s payment website page to available loan/installments facilities from the client and to pay for his order.
• A display link/button with the client logo and installment price lookup for the individual product in advertisement and product catalog along with product price. From where user can view the loan and installment price details in Community Finance portal and register himself.
• All the cart information can be sent to the client payment website while redirecting the customer to their order payment.
• The customer will receive the response from the client portal after the payment.

The development team also created a website for the client with the following functionality:

• A web page that handles the redirection of the user from shopping portal.
• A method on the page to collect all the user and cart information’s from the request.
• A UI to accept the approval code and card details.
• A business rule to handle the situation and to prompt UI to user to provide the customer card details incase credit limit of the user with the client is less than the cart price.
• An integrated payment gateway for the order payment.
• A business logic to redirect user back to the shopping site from where the customer came with required details and payment status.

At the end of the project, the client was able to advertise their services through multiple ecommerce platforms, ultimately improving the visibility of their business services through B2C marketplace software.

The client also received a website that intelligently directed customers to their account and encourages them to make their payments, while adhering to compliance rules to ensure the participants have acceptable credit for secure payments.
