Advanced Event Management Systems

As an exclusive membership organization, Karma users interact with the event application on a regular basis. The application allows executives to organize and attend events while managing attendees and connecting users with each other through social media platforms within the website.

Admin teams use the backend of the application to track and manage potential membership applications while informing existing members of upcoming events. Users are able to search and book their experiences through the platform.

Karma was an existing application that needed to be fine-tuned, and Chetu was tasked with debugging the platform while enhancing their ticket purchasing system.

Web Application Debugging

In order to provide top of the line services synonymous with the Karma name, Master Lee Technology wanted Chetu to optimize the application to its full potential. To do this, Master Lee Technology provided access to Sentry logs and maintained tasks via Asana tickets.

Technology leveraged for this project included Python 3.x, Django 1.8.x , MySql 5.7.x, and PyCharm Professional editor to maintain the web-based application that can be accessed through Chrome, Firefox, and IEI10+. Master Lee Technology managed GitHub repository for source code check-in while Chetu developers pushed source code regularly to the repository. As Chetu continued to debug the Karma application Master Lee Technology tuned the database tables using Django.

Increased User Experience

For executives, the Karma Office dashboard is organized with various tabs that include applications, events, reports, and tools. Besides managing existing and potential members users can also view reports for sales, members, and event attendance. Chetu developers successfully debugged the application with additional features that allow event managers to organize events, while connecting with individuals through social media platforms within the website.
