Plantation, FL (December 11th, 2014) - The Florida based software development solutions firm Chetu, concluded its annual employee training workshop. The conference involved keynote presentations, breakout sessions, team building activities and important announcements, including the recognition of the year's top performers: Jane Powell, Craig Schmidt and Michelle Ogden. The event was hosted at Chetu's headquarters in Plantation, Fla. from December 1st through the 10th. In attendance was Chetu's directors, project managers, national account managers, inside sales representatives, administrative team, marketing, and operations aggregated from locations throughout the United States, Amsterdam, and India.
The workshops involved over 30 hours of in-depth training facilitated by Florida International University (FIU) Business, which offers executive and professional education. The power sales workshop was led by David Suarez, MBA. Mr. Suarez is the President, CEO, and lead facilitator for Interactive Training Solutions. Topics for his training included advanced techniques for solutions selling, qualifying techniques, negotiation skills, pipeline management and getting the close. The applied project manager workshop was headed by Ramses Maldonado, a certified project manager responsible for large scale technology projects for many Fortune 500 companies. He guided the project managers through training consisting of client management tactics, efficient communications, team management, and leadership plus constructive and implementable group post mortem.
Chetu's training week included an offsite team building competition at the Coral Springs Country Club on December 4th. This carnival themed event featured seven teams, comprised of members in each industry vertical who competed in standard carnival games including ring toss, wheel spin, balloon darts and basketball shootout to earn tickets and prizes. The event promoted comradery and solidarity as employees ate BBQ styled food, listened to music, and played games. The night wrapped up with a Chetu's Got Talent" segment where team members demonstrated their special talents for the group. The winners of this event were team members from the Healthcare and Retail verticals.
On December 6th employees attended the annual holiday party. Employees were shuttled to Bal Harbour, in North Miami Beach, to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The lavish affair included a DJ and a delicious buffet style dinner. Employees were encouraged to get acquainted with other members of the Chetu family while enjoying reprieve from the intensive training of the workshops.
