Plantation, FL (November 20th, 2014) – Chetu, Inc., a leading global software development solutions provider, will be participating in the St. Jude Give Thanks. Walk. charity event on November 22, 2014. The charity walk, which is held in different communities around the U.S., helps raise funding to support St. Jude’s mission to treat and cure childhood illness. Thirty-one Chetu employees have registered to participate around the world from office locations in North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, and Colorado. Those not able to participate in an established event, such as those in India and Amsterdam, will participate in a virtual walk to help raise donations and walk their own path separate from the designated charitable events.
Chetu is proud to announce that they exceeded their goal to raise $2,000 for charity. As of November 20th, Chetu employees have raised $2,765 and are striving to increase that amount by the 22nd. As is customary for Chetu, the company will match employee’s charitable donations for this cause.
Since its inception, the St. Jude Give Thanks. Walk has raised more than $17 million to help St. Jude provide cutting–edge treatment and research in finding cures to end childhood cancers.
