The client is a privately owned, multi-million dollar software development firm with over 25 years of experience. They specialize in software consulting and custom application development, engineering software platforms for clients in the insurance, accounting, legal, and oil and gas industries.
The client came to Chetu with a cloud-based Claims Management System (CMS) that supports end-to-end claims processing and streamlines claim settlements, and was looking to maximize process automation with a data transfer system integration. Chetu channeled resources into the development of a bi-directional data transfer system with the capacity to export and import claims assignments, status, notes, and documents.
The Chetu project required XactAnalysis integration and leveraged SOAP-based XML, API, and FTP protocol for data transfer. XactAnalysis supports configurations and settings, triggering export from XactAnalysis. These triggers are set on field status changes in Xactimate claims forms.
XactAnalysis is a third-party service that offers full cycle claims management for the insurance industry. Their service tracks claims, recognizes error and self-corrects, monitors performance, and generates analytics reports.
With the support from Xactware, Chetu was able to complete the integration using the newly introduced XactAnalysis, SOAP-based, XML, and API. Chetu created the following services to import data from Xactimate into the client's claim management system. Xactimate initiated the following services, all of which were engineered using XactAnalysis:
