THE CHETU CLIENT

Chetu's client is a mortgage field services company with 30+ years of experience in the mortgage industry. They advertise a colorful array of offerings including several types of property inspections, delinquency interviews, property preservation, REO clean out, property rehab, and repair services, extending these services throughout the United States.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

When this client came to Chetu, they required concept to code development and systems integration. Chetu's objective was to engineer a two-way pull and push WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) web service to integrate with Pruvan API. Following development, the client tasked Chetu the installation of the Pruvan mobile application on the field officers' mobile devices, giving them the capacity to view assigned projects and action items.

Ultimately, Chetu's project broadened the database toolbox for field officers, instrumenting reporting modules, so they would be able to collect information out of office and upload the data directly to the Pruvan server from their mobile devices.

Chetu also needed to transfer the existing project database to the Pruvan server so the client would have total access to records and completed work orders.

HOW CHETU FIXED THINGS

The Solution

The client entrusted Chetu to assist them in bringing their idea to fruition, syndicating their old data and incoming data in a unified system.

Chetu used technologies such as Pruvan API, ASP.NET with C#, JavaScript, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), and SQL Server to create a web service with the following functions and capabilities:

Pruvan installed on the field officers' (Field Crew's) mobile devices
The integration allows the company administrator to create projects and work orders from the Pruvan site then assign them to the field crew
Field officers can login to the Pruvan Mobile app and see projects assigned to them
Field officers can visit the property site mentioned in a Project Work Order and collect all the necessary information, such as pictures of the property, using the Pruvan Mobile app
All the collected information uploaded to the selected Pruvan Online account using Pruvan's secure servers through Pruvan Mobile
Chetu developed a Web Service developed that can download updated information from the Pruvan server and store it in the clients' database
