Many businesses do not define their use case prior to recruiting an AI developer. They should have a clear understanding of the problem(s) they are trying to solve, what data will be available, and how their business will grow through scalability. And if a company does not validate the level of expertise regarding the development of AI models, how the models will be integrated, and whether the developer has the necessary domain knowledge, they may end up with an inefficient solution or non-performing AI-based business application.
