Chetu was approached by a client in the retail sector whose company provides consumers with the digital delivery of gaming, retail, and streaming gift cards, which can be purchased in various currencies, serving customers worldwide.
The client wanted to build a secure web application that integrated with third-party web services to validate transactions and identify threats associated with fraudulent activity. It was important that only authenticated and authorized users have access to the application and that they could conveniently make purchases using one of several payment processors. Additionally, the site had to have a streamlined UI optimized for mobile device use, allowing users to navigate the site easily, create an account, view order history, and access their e-wallets.
Chetu’s development team used the Qtrin application to upgrade the site’s security and enable device profiling and fraud protection. Device profiling allows merchants to identify the device from which their applications are being accessed. This platform includes a rule and policy management module in which the merchant can create rules to validate transactions as well as detect and prevent fraud, reducing the company’s risks associated with deceptive activity. This application also generates service reports for the retailer, providing visibility into the transactions completed in the merchant’s portal with details of each Qtrin interaction.
The project also required the installation of multiple payment gateways using third-party APIs to support international transactions.
Lastly, the development team needed to design a streamlined UI optimized for use on a mobile device or tablet, with options to purchase gift cards or prepaid cards and the ability to subscribe for notifications, view orders, and change profile information and passwords.

It supports various types of data, and instead of storing data in structured tables and rows, this architecture comprises collections and documents. NoSQL database management programs are used alternatively to relational databases and are suitable when working with large sets of distributed data.
PayPal, Interac, InComm, MaxMind, and Telesign – Third-party APIs were used to install payment gateways.
The project was successful, resulting in a secure, high-powered web application that provides a safe environment for customers to conduct online transactions. This robust platform provides a secure portal where registered users can make purchases and store currency in their e-wallets and digital codes in their personal accounts. The site has generated an abundance of traffic, increased sales volume, and even gained recognition shortly after launching for its excellence on Trustpilot.com, earning thousands of 5-star reviews for its reliability, security, and convenience.
