Chetu leveraged BigCommerce customization to develop a stylish, feature-rich website that functions smoothly across multiple browsers, improving the client’s ability to showcase offerings to potential partners.
The client is a private equity group that purchases hemp from Texas farms and converts it into oil. This hemp oil is then sold to third-party manufacturers to produce an array of hemp-based products, including foods, beverages, lotions, and more.
To help expand its marketplace presence, the client selected Chetu, a certified BigCommerce partner, to build a robust website for marketing a wide variety of offerings directly to manufacturers.
On a technical level, to design the website, we used Handlebar language as a template-based scripting language, BigCommerce as the cloud-based e-commerce platform, and HTML for creating web pages. The final solution functions on the latest versions of modern browsers such as IE 9/10, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. We developed and staged the application in Windows and performed extensive quality testing prior to deployment.
Our team of BigCommerce developers designed a back-end solution that gives administrators control of every element of the e-commerce website, including user accounts, product listings, inventory, and orders, to ensure all facets of the website function correctly.
On the front end, customers can create accounts through the website, browse detailed product listings, add items to their cart, make purchases, track shipping, and leave reviews. Built from scratch, the completed e-commerce website hosts a range of features that fulfil the needs of the business and customers alike, facilitating use cases from placing product orders to managing customer profiles.
