Chetu enhanced a multi-platform learning management system by optimizing APIs, automating certificate generation, and leveraging Salesforce to centralize sales data, automate reporting, and streamline operations across Litmos, Ecwid, and Eventbrite.

Client’s Overview

The eLearning market, now valued at $399.3 billion and climbing at a rapid 14% annual growth rate through 2032, shows no signs of slowing down. To keep pace with this booming demand, our client was focused on delivering a robust Healthcare eLearning Platform with explicit, unbiased instruction backed by seasoned management, industry experts, and a credentialed advisory board.

The client sought to reduce manual processes, improve reporting accuracy, and scale enrollment capacity to keep pace with the growing eLearning market. This involves seamless data synchronization between Litmos, Ecwid, and Eventbrite and centralized data management in Salesforce.

They integrated these platforms with Salesforce to unlock scalability and accuracy, creating a centralized hub for seamless data synchronization, enhanced reporting, and a smooth, scalable learner experience.

The Project

Chetu streamlined and automated the client’s technology stack with Salesforce as the foundation to drive seamless operations and accurate data synchronization:

ScormCloud API Enhancements: The team at Chetu analyzed and improved the existing API to connect with ScormCloud, enabling the automated retrieval of completed courses. We modified the certificate generation process to store PDFs by student ID and implemented email notifications with secure, expiring download links.
Ecwid and Salesforce Integration: We also reviewed the current integration to ensure order details from Ecwid synced accurately to Salesforce and Litmos. By refining the webhook API and checkout workflows, we improved data consistency and eliminated manual intervention.
Litmos API Optimization: A team of developers at Chetu worked with the Litmos API to automate CE/CME credit awarding based on survey submissions and course completions. This allowed for real-time tracking of learner progress and ensured accurate credentialing.
Eventbrite Zapier Automation: We evaluated and expanded existing Zapier workflows to streamline communication between Eventbrite and Ecwid, ensuring new course purchases and enrollments synced without errors.
Salesforce Reporting Automation: Chetu configured Salesforce to generate and schedule reports for opportunities, sales, and course completions, automating insights delivery and reducing the need for manual reporting tasks.

The Process

With a framework supporting the required multi-system architecture and automated workflows, critical functions like enrollment tracking, credential validation, and role-based access became easier to implement and maintain.

Technologies like MySQL ensured data integrity and optimized performance through advanced indexing and querying, supporting reliable analytics. Using languages such as PHP and Python 2.7 provided a secure and scalable open-source application development and deployment solution.

Additionally, SVN version control enabled seamless collaboration across global development teams, ensuring consistent code quality and dependable updates throughout the project lifecycle.

The Impact

The enhancements reduced manual intervention, ensured students received certificates promptly, and improved the accuracy of sales and completion records across all systems. With automated certificate generation and optimized APIs, the client can manage higher volumes of course sales with less overhead.

By streamlining complex multi-platform integrations, Chetu helped the client maintain a 100% accuracy rate in data transfers while decreasing administrative workload—ensuring students and administrators experience a smooth, efficient process from purchase to course completion.
