Breakthrough EHR Solution Paves Way For Seamless Medical Administration

Our Approach

With our client being a service provider across the board, we wanted to facilitate their capabilities alongside increasing the clean claim pass-through rate and improving the collection process with a software solution. We were able to produce the platform by leveraging their preferred architectures for front-end and back-end development: React JS and PHP (Laravel), respectively.

Expanding on the front-end development, we leveraged Material JS Design as the UI component library to achieve an appealing and visually consistent design for the platform and Redux to help us manage and update the application's state. Furthermore, we utilized Redux-Thunk, a middleware for Redux, to improve the platform's responsiveness and perform asynchronous actions like making API calls. We also used the JavaScript library Axios to efficiently retrieve data, interact with the server, and manage responses. In tandem, these technologies led us through a streamlined development process and resulted in an engaging and effective platform.

To power the user experience, we leveraged PostgreSQL 9.56DB and Laravel 8. These two technologies were used due to their strong storage capabilities and ample set of features, respectively. Consequently, the platform is efficient, maintainable, and scalable to our clients' needs, demands, and service offerings.

The services offered by our client can be done through a dedicated project manager (DPM); this is a professional who is tasked with overseeing the management and operations within medical practices. This is achieved through coordinating staff activities, managing finances, and handling administrative tasks to ensure cohesive operation. So, aside from offering the web platform itself, our client uses what we've helped them create combined with their DPM services to have a completely streamlined approach to their financial necessities.

We created our client’s desired platform to not only ensure their goals are being met but also to be compliant with industry standards such as HIPAA to enhance the safety and security of patient data. With efficient document sharing and financial management, we've seen the overall health of the operational and financial sides of medicine improve significantly. As a result, by leveraging this platform, medical professionals no longer have to suffer through unnecessary back and forth and can focus on what's truly important: the patient.
