During the past 18 years, the client has established themselves as a leading technology provider within the payment industry. They leverage their extensive network to assist businesses in reducing expenses, improving efficiencies in the bill remittance process, and formulating the easiest methods and broadest range of offerings for consumers to use with their day to day purchases.
Their service selection caters to enterprises within the utility, municipality, property management and healthcare landscapes, allowing participants in these industries to accept payments of all forms—cash, credit cards, checks, lockbox, and online bill payments.
When this client came to Chetu, they were eager to expand their offerings through an application development project. They envisioned an application capable of implementing a payment flow compatible with VeriFone VX-520 terminal.
The objective of the project was to create a payment application for VeriFone terminals to help merchants in automating their payment processes with the clients' payment gateway. The VeriFone terminal application would accept magstripe, EMV, contact, and NFC contactless payments.
Chetu proposed that the VeriFone terminal application interface automatically integrate with clients' payment gateway to process transaction requests and to display the response received from the gateway on the terminal with a detailed payment receipt.

Chetu programmed ID configurations into the VeriFone terminal application allowing merchants to establish profiles and linking the app to the clients' gateway server.
Merchants can use the app to process a transaction by entering the transaction amount number, swiping, or inserting the credit card, or manually entering the card number, expiration date, and zip code.
The transaction request is sent to clients' server and the response is displayed on the screen. All receipts can be printed directly from the terminal application.
