The client is a national litigation firm, based in New York. They offer legal consultation for the following:
The law firm has years of experience practicing law for those who have suffered wrongs and/or traumatic events. The practice has been extremely successful and proudly states how they have helped many families of victims of the World Trade Center.
These New York lawyers have a reputation for consistently providing high-quality legal advice with a passion for pursuing justice, working tirelessly until that is achieved. The personal injury attorneys have obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.
Chetu's main objective for executing the integration of NetSuite to the client's current software was to build a bridge database that connects to different client databases, and pulls field data from each. Our developers then created APIs in NetSuite and other applications to pull data from the bridge database and display it on the UI. The client has individual databases for their various fields of litigation practices and wanted to bring some common data into a bridge database to then use that information in NetSuite.
Oracle NetSuite is a cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software used by organizations to manage day-to-day business activities, such as accounting, procurement, project management and manufacturing. The NetSuite ERP system ties together and defines a plethora of business processes, enabling the flow of data between them. By collecting an organization's shared, transactional data from multiple sources, ERP systems eliminate data duplication and provide data integrity to a single source.
The technologies used for this project include:
Chetu utilized the SQL Server's Integration Services (SSIS) ETL tool packages and related solutions to extract data from various client databases, transform it accordingly and load it to a newly created centralized bridge database. Once the bridge database was setup the developers mapped the data to the NetSuite software to be used for reporting and as a dashboard.
To integrate NetSuite with SQL database, NetSuite provided access to their web API and it was updated in NetSuite. The client planned to use NetSuite to upload invoices.
The NetSuite and SQL database integration was executed by creating a SSIS package solution to extract data from field databases, various practices, and related databases.
Our developers then programed and configured SSIS package to transform and load various field data into one bridge database. The developers ran the SSIS package (solution) on demand, in real time (on the fly) and based on scheduling. Then analyzed and track the ETL (SSIS packages) execution and operation performed during data transfer and operation. A map setup bridge database was created in the NetSuite software to add/update new clients to NetSuite.
To upload the invoices to NetSuite we created the SSIS package received from the client to upload to NetSuite. The SSIS package can be run using SSMS. The user will get the email notification for duplicate or invalid invoices. A console application was created to upload the invoices to NetSuite. The console application can be used to update the NetSuite mapping tables and finally we setup the database objects to create the application.
As an Oracle NetSuite Alliance Partner, Chetu developers have a deep and unique understanding of NetSuite solutions. NetSuite provides Alliance Partners with a robust set of resources, certified training, and tools, enabling them to develop expertise around specific business functions, product areas, and industries so they can efficiently assist customers, differentiate their practices, and grow their business. At the end of the project the client had an inclusive database mechanism that seamlessly pulled data from each field-specific database to a centralized one accessible through NetSuite ERP and Cloud technology. Business operations were streamlined and the UI of their website organized for an optimal customer experience.
